dreamcatcher
Dreams have always had many meanings to the Indians. One of the old Ojibwa traditions is to have a Dreamcatcher in their homes. This tradition has spread to almost every Indian tribe. They believe that the night air is filled with dreams, both bad and good. The dreamcatcher catches the dreams as they float by. The good dreams know the way, slip through the center hole and slide off the soft feather or fringe so gently, that often the sleeper doesn't even know that he's dreaming. The bad dreams, not knowing their way, get entangled in the web, and burn up at the first light of the new day. Hang your dreamcatcher in your home near your bed and you will have happy dreams.
Blessed be ♥
